StitchPlot FAQ
Can StitchPlot turn an image into a cross-stitch pattern on a Mac?+
Yes. StitchPlot samples a local image, resizes it to your chosen stitch grid, reduces it to a DMC palette and assigns printable symbols.
Can I correct the suggested thread colors?+
Yes. The generated palette is a starting point. You can replace individual DMC colors and regenerate a collision-free symbol key before export.
Does StitchPlot estimate thread requirements?+
Yes. It estimates stitched length and skein totals from the chart, strand count and fabric settings. The totals are planning estimates and include configurable margin.
What does StitchPlot export?+
It creates a multipage printable PDF with tiled chart pages and overlap, a shopping-list CSV, project JSON and a SHA-256 manifest inside one ZIP.
How much will StitchPlot cost?+
The planned launch price is US$24 as a one-time purchase for one Mac, with no subscription.
How will checkout work?+
At launch, Lemon Squeezy will process the secure checkout as merchant of record. Available cards and wallets depend on country, browser and device, and applicable tax is calculated at checkout.
